Hi,
My name is Ebert, I have been working in the TV, Film and Media industry since 2012 and am currently based in Doha, Qatar. I started my career as a cameraman on lifestyle TV shows and have since worked in the capacity of Producer, Director, DOP and Editor on a variety of projects ranging from feature films, short films, TV commercials, lifestyle TV shows to music videos.
I'm also the company director and founder of Ebert Steyn Films which I founded in 2016 in Cape Town, South Africa. In early 2022 I placed my company on hold to move to Doha, Qatar to work in the capacity of Director of Photography for the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy to document and promote the Fifa 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
In 2023 I started Freelancing again as a DOP and have shot projects for The Film House, Edge Pictures, Doha Film Institute, Ginger Camel and True North for clients such as Qatar Airways, QNB, Bloomberg, Qatar Rail, Qatar Foundation, Dupont DSS+ and many more.
